Summary:
This position is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and storing of incoming material for the warehouse.
Basic Computer Skills Required We are Family-Oriented and believe in Teamwork.
The candidate for this Position must be a Team Player and work well with others.
Performance Standards:
Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, suppliers, and employees.
Constantly representing of the company in a positive and professional manner regardless of customer requests, complaints, or demeanor.
Complying with policies and procedures.
Interacting with other employees, suppliers, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Communicating work progress and significant issues to the immediate supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to handle products and warehouse materials.
Arrange and organize products and material in a warehouse.
Prepare and verify shipment papers.
Organize transportation of materials in warehouse.
Inspect and verify products, materials, and equipment before storing in warehouse.
Execute loading and unloading operations.
Store unused raw materials in proper area when processes are complete.
Ensure compliance of safety procedures and practices in warehouse operations.
Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.
Qualifications:
0 to 3 years warehouse experience is a plus.
Must be able to read and understand work instructions for the position held.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit climb or balance; stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
