Sales Rep

Summary: Sales position within the business unit responsible for all aspects of the daily sales function relative to all customers including both existing and targeted customers within an assigned geography. Position is also responsible for communicating and working with sales staff and for driving key initiatives, goals and expectations of the sales management team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create Demand
Existing and new business
Portfolio growth
Develop and manage customer relationships.
Margin maintenance including price changes, promotions management, and SKU management.
Works together with sales team to drive core initiatives.
Provide leadership within area of responsibility
Encourage growth within area through:
1.Benchmarking
2.Customer Leads
3.Organized Approach
4.Best Practices
5.Participation within industry specific associations, trade shows and customer events
Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
BS/BA degree preferred
5 + years of sales experience and/or training in the food/beverage or consumer products industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have a proven track record of success growing sales and developing new customers primarily
Negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence
Ability to be effective in a results driven, entrepreneurial, fast-paced work environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Analytical and decision making ability
Strong customer/channel understanding
Demonstrated ability to prioritize/ self-motivate and manage time effectively
Strong MS Office and mobile technology skills
Must have good driving record

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
