Business Unit Summary
TheHSN Piney Flats, Tennessee Fulfillment Center works behind the scenes to ensureour customers receive the right product quickly and efficiently. This 24-houroperation offers employees the chance to work in a state-of-the-art automateddistribution environment. This role is directly responsible for the sitespecific Fulfillment Center Environmental, Health, and Safety.
This role is directlyresponsible for site specific Fulfillment Center Environmental, Health andSafety.
Interprets, implements and drives EHS policies,programs, guidelines, and training with direction from the regional EHS managerand Corporate EHS team assisting in customization of policies and proceduresand providing recommended changes as necessary.
Drivesthe employee safety engagement expectations for the site with a focus oncontinuous safety improvement. Leadssite efforts to support the EHS Vision focused on world class workplace safety
Partnerswith the site General Manager (GM) to hold site leadership accountable forworkplace safety including but not limited to incident reporting, leadingindicators, and adhering to general safety expectations communicated throughtraining, auditing or other equivalent methods.
Developsmonthly safety progress metrics for trending and identifying areas of opportunities.Works closely with the site GM and /or site Sr. Leadership team to ensure thesite maintains a continuous safety improvement path.
Collaborateswith site Sr. Leadership to develop safety recognition programs with a focus onteam member engagement.
Leadsthe site Sr. Leadership safety committee.
Demonstratesan ability to influence change across the Fulfillment Center.
Spendstime in the Fulfillment Center to development relationships with team membersand identifies gaps and safety program improvement opportunities.
Managesthe site Safety Specialist.
Participatesin Safety Situational Management (SMM) level 1 meetings and assists siteLeadership with site specific SMM Level 2 incident preparation and delivery.
Sponsorsthe site safety captains program.
Partnerswith Project Managers to ensure regulatory compliance and safety designis incorporated into equipment, process and building projects. Ensuresworkplace safety and health practices are incorporated with all construction,installation and remediation site projects.
Managesthe site Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics programs.
Liaisonfor all site regulatory agency inquiries (OSHA, EPA, DOT or state equivalent).Responds to regulatory inspections, working directly with agency personnel.Partners with regional EHS manager and company Legal to develop responses toinvestigations, agency requests and proposed citations.
Managesthe overall site regulated waste program for compliance purposes.
Responsiblefor managing the overall site regulatory compliance and company best managementpractice (BMP) EHS program. Incorporates internal and external peer and legal reviewin any document development process and presents final drafts to EHS managementfor approval, where appropriate.
Providesregular updates to Regional EHS Manager regarding site safety performance andintegration of the company EHS program.
Supports initiatives and on-going projects associatedwith the company's sustainability program, including event planning, committeefacilitation and activity tracking.
Partnerswith the HR Leave Office regarding worker's compensation management and returnto work accommodations for the Fulfillment site.
Submitsapplicable compliance reports and compliance fees for the site within requiredtime expectations (examples may include annual AST registrations, wastegenerator or radiation program fees, Federal biennial waste reports, etc.).
Partnerswith peers to share site specific best practices and potentially developsnetwork or company environmental, health, safety programs, policies, guidelinesand training.

Minimum B.S. in occupational safety, environmental healthor related field or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of experience in EHS programmanagement with emphasis on program development, reducing injuries and drivingsafety culture.
Basic experience/knowledge with LEAN principles, processimprovement and change management.
Ability to foster a positive work environment bypromoting teamwork, open communication, and company culture.
Experience leading and influencing people.
Ability to develop and implement programs based onstrategies and goals.
Ability to travel overnight.
Significant knowledge in environmental and occupationalsafety and health regulations
Excellent working knowledge of computer applications(Word, Excel, PowerPoint required).
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbalcommunication skills in both technical and non-technical terms.
Good facilitation skills, ability to collaborateeffectively with company personnel at all levels.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
