Position summary:
As an integral part of the Bell Finance team, this position will be responsible for providing financial information to business leaders, and will perform various finance and accounting activities. This position will be based in the Piney Flats, TN location.
Responsibilities may include:
Balance sheet account reconciliation
Support of month-end close
Interacting through cross-functional relationships within the organization, and facilitating communication between the functions within finance to ensure accurate and predictive financial information is communicated throughout the organization
Using knowledge of key business unit operating metrics/drivers to measure performance
Ensuring forecast accuracy and monitoring countermeasures
Assisting in the development of annual operating plans, long-range plans and capital planning processes
Participating in forecasts, monthly/quarterly business reporting, and variance analysis for the supported organizations
Enhancing the awareness and understanding of operating performance information, financial scenario planning, and the impact of management's decisions on these financial results
Performing special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required
Other duties as assigned
Education Requirement:
High school diploma/GED and related work experience in Accounting / Finance equivalent to a 4 year degree
Position Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in Accounting, Finance or related area
Demonstrated ability to meet established goals and deadlines
Demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform within a team environment
Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills to promote positive and professional work relationships
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Planning and organizational skills to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
Willingness and initiative to learn
Intermediate level ability with MS Office programs (including Word, Outlook and Excel).
Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/related field
Ability to create formulas in MS Office programs (to include V-lookups)
Experience in a U.S. GAAP and SOX Controls Environment
Corporate Finance and Accounting experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
